Built Around the Realities of Housing Development
Good projects may have committed public funding or strong stabilized economics but still face capital gaps during acquisition, construction, reimbursement, and conversion.
KIRBI Capital seeks to bridge those gaps through disciplined business-purpose real estate financing.
Why KIRBI Capital
The market has capital. What is often missing is infrastructure.
The affordable-housing market has capital. It has developers. It has contractors. It has public programs. What is often missing is the infrastructure that connects them.
KIRBI Capital was created to help build that connection — linking public funding, private lending, development expertise, construction execution, compliance, technology, reimbursement, and permanent financing into a single, documented path.
KIRBI is building the financial and operating infrastructure required to move affordable-housing capital from commitment to completion.
Mission
To expand the availability of responsible private capital for affordable and community-focused housing development.
KIRBI Capital was established to address a recurring issue in housing development: the gap between when a project is ready to proceed and when committed resources are actually released. Awards are conditioned on construction progress, inspection, compliance, and occupancy; permanent debt requires stabilization. In between, projects need capital that understands both the construction process and the program requirements.
We are an emerging platform. Our approach is to build carefully — documented underwriting, disciplined construction administration, and transparent reporting to the institutions and agencies we work with.
